//Protozoa// are single-celled organisms that act a bit like animals, in that they can move and hunt.  Worlds with just Protozoa are quite rare, because once they evolve life starts evolving rapidly. Protozoa are generally sub-millimetre in size.

Prior to these there were only [[Prokaryotes]] and [[Algae]]. Following them are [[Metazoa]].
