Unlike [[GaianPelagic]] worlds, BathyGaian worlds have deep oceans, with nothing even approximating land. The continental regions are covered with kilometres of water, with deeper oceans well over ten kilometres in depth.

They have thick, hot atmospheres. Some are tidally locked, so they can have large temperature changes between the day and night sides. Otherwise, temperatures tend to be below normal water boiling points.

They are less extreme versions of [[BathyPelagic]] or [[EuPelagic]] worlds.
