Kettlewell is a village of about 120 people around the manor of Lord Richard Kettlewell. The manor itself is a fortified house on the north edge of the village. The church is to the south, and the fields stretch out from the north side of the village.

Every summer, an archery contest is held here, and the winner is awarded a sizeable prize. Though Lord Kettlewell himself doesn't take part, he always challenges the winner to a one-on-one competition for an extra bonus. So far, he has never lost.
