====== Outrim Void Rumours ====== ====== Outrim Void Rumours ======

+These rumours are specific to the Outrim Void, mostly the //Dpres//, //Sindal//, //Tobia//, //Tlaiowaha// and //The Borderlands// sub-sectors of the Trojan Reach.

 |  **16**  | There has been a massacre of the crew of a ship leaving the Glorious Empire - the Aslan claimed that they were ferrying escaped slaves. | |  **16**  | There has been a massacre of the crew of a ship leaving the Glorious Empire - the Aslan claimed that they were ferrying escaped slaves. |
 |  **21**  | The train network at Paal was impressive in its day, but it's now falling apart. The nuclear powered trains run all around the world, but they are getting low on fuel and are seeking contracts with neighbouring worlds for decent supplies of uranium. | |  **21**  | The train network at Paal was impressive in its day, but it's now falling apart. -|  **22** There are rumours of large numbers of Chirpers living on the world of Tktkthough whenever anyone goes to investigate they never seem to be around making it possible they're just the imaginations of the natives there. |+|  **22** Rumour has it that there are fleets of Zhodani warships massing in the Trojan Reach, preparing for another Frontier War against the Imperium. They hide in the outer belts of minor systemsready to create a second front against the Imperium's rimward borders. |
 |  **23**  | There's been an outbreak of a virus amongst the giant agricultural robots on Lilgan, causing some of them to stop working write in the middle of the harvest. There's been an emergency rush to get in replacements and find the cause of the virus. | |  **23**  | There's been an outbreak of a virus amongst the giant agricultural robots on Lilgan, causing some of them to stop working write in the middle of the harvest.  |  **24**  | Cordan's nobility are organising a major celebration for the end of the year. There has been unrest amongst the servile population, so I think they reckon a world wide festival will distract people's minds away from the idea of rioting. | |  **24**  | Cordan's nobility are organising a major celebration for the end of the year.  |  **36**  | There have been three accidents in the last month with ships trying to land on Argona. All three ships crashed into the ice whilst trying to land in blizzard conditions. The port has put out a warning that any ships landing their should double check their sensors are fully working before arrival. | |  **36**  | There have been three accidents in the last month with ships trying to land on Argona.  |  **41**  | //The People's League// on Arunisiir have stepped up their efforts to drive the Aslan off their world, though have been denounced by the human oligarchs who benefit greatly from the current situation. Several Aslan have been killed, and it's possible that reprisals will escalate the violence. | |  **41**  | //The People's League// on Arunisiir have stepped up their efforts to drive the Aslan off their world, though have been denounced by the human oligarchs who benefit greatly from the current situation. -|  **42**| The GeDeCo corporation has provided the world of Byrni with more anti-pirate gunboats to help them in  defending shipping in the Borderlands. They're trying to organise regular trade convoys across the Outrim Void as a way of fending off the pirates. |+|  **42**  | The GeDeCo corporation has provided the world of Byrni with more anti-pirate gunboats to help them in  defending shipping in the Borderlands.  |  **43**  | A new, comedic holovid soap has started doing the rounds within the Outrim Void called "What Generation Are You?" It's a fake-documentary that follows the lives of several families living in the crowded 'Harmony Tower' (population, 2.1 million) on the world of Brown. It mostly focuses on a pair of siblings who are fixated on following the events of worlds unreachable from their own. | |  **43**  | A new, comedic holovid soap has started doing the rounds within the Outrim Void called "What Generation Are You?"  +|  **44**  | There is money to be made in shipping high tech weapons into //Ergo//, though the world has a Red travel advisory because there's no guarantee that your ship won't be attacked by pirates and goods stolen. Normally such a world would be interdicted, but with no Imperium Navy out here traders are left to take the risks if they want. |
+|  **45**  | The various competing 'starports' on Inurin have taken to offering free (mostly worthless) prizes to encourage traders to that world to land at them. Personally, I'm going for the "Bobble-head Troll" collectables which Gaimin port is handing out. Once I get a full set, I reckon they'll actually be worth something. |
+|  **46**  | There is a back-to-nature group, the //Real Human Initiative//, in the Imperium which is looking to colonise Tanith. They reckon they can settle amongst the barbarian tribes that make up most of the world, and live a 'purely natural' life. Some are looking for passage there. |
