Acrid is a Cytherean Xeric world, on the cusp of losing its oceans completely as they boil away into the atmosphere. This leaves a misty haze of super heated acid covering the landscape. Atmospheric pressure is about 4,000KPa.

The A class starport is mostly for the industrial ships that come here, ferrying exotic chemicals off-world. The population here is barely 1,000 and they dwell in aerostats high up above the clouds.
