-Fast interceptor, built out of New Home shipyards. It is designed to be as fast as technically possible, capable of intercepting pirates or acting as a long distance scout with the ability to outrun anything. It wasn't efficient to make the fuel tanks any smaller, so the 20 weeks operation is probably more than a crew is willing to do in practice, but it turned what was originally planned as a short range interceptor into a long range in-system scout.
