Settlements are civilian centres, with large populations compared to military outposts. The bulk of a settlement is actually buildings and living quarters, which is represented by hull boxes. Settlements have five rows of hull boxes, no armour, and one 'damage party' per 50 mass. 'Hull' will generally make up 80%+ of the mass of the settlement.

A small civilian colony of about 10,000 people. This will be a large village or very small town, the bulk of which consists of living quarters. It has a small landing field, and often a single point defence system to guard against raider attacks, but is otherwise undefended.
