Some notes on skills for Mongoose Traveller.

Electronics (Computers) can be used for bypassing electronic security systems.

If you have no Language skill, then you speak your native language (probably Vilani), and probably know some common words and phrases in Ganglic. Translator devices are pretty common, so a skill beyond this isn't always necessary.

Language 0: You speak Ganglic, and know common words and phrases in other tongues.

Specialisations: Each other language is a specialisation, you need 1 pt in it to speak it well enough for most purposes. 2 points you are completely fluent.

Also covers welding, repairing and similar low tech engineering work, even if done on a ship.

Tends to be INT based rather than EDU.

Split into different specialities, but can't default to the parent skill.
