The covenant was founded by the Arch Magus Caefloron ex Merinita, and for a long time was inhabited only by him and his filii. In the last few decades, others have been allowed to join them. The covenant is a huge stone tower, with a wall enclosing a magical garden.

Caefloron died in 1216, and since then the covenant has been run by Ash ex Merinita.

The covenant was abandoned in 1231, when the magi fled the rising tide of the infernal in Hibernia.
