Autumn, 1223

The magus Fearghus Mac Mungan ex Miscellanea of Mac Gruagach covenant turns up to investigate the magical regio and the possible dragon. He stays for a few days, before heading back to Loch Leglean without sharing too many details of his aims, but does promise to compensate the magi for their help.
